Good to see the National Trust doing a great job of looking after the stunning South West Coast Path. Our National Trails are national treasures!
I’ve finally admitted it to myself, albeit reluctantly, that summer is definitely over. But between the often intense downpours, the North Cornwall ranger team have been lapping up the crisp, autumnal views. Summer may be over but North Cornwall has never looked better!
Hard at work out on the South West coast path, Rangers and volunteers have been maintaining waymarkers and cutting back vegetation to ensure the paths are in good nick for the steady stream of walkers still a’roaming.
Whilst repairing stock fencing between Holywell Dunes and Kelsey Head, we definitely noticed the keener Autumn winds. Lunch was a brief stopover with nowhere to escape the breeze. Holywell beach was also getting pounded by some big surf, with only a few distant wetsuited shapes braving the water.
