Day 4

I woke up after sleeping like a log. I was exhausted the night before and didn’t even make it out for dinner (I made it to a shop then back to my room) and was asleep by half 9.

Day 4 was odd. I was in glorious sunshine one minute and mist the next. It did make the day quite interesting, I just had to be patient when it came to taking photos.

This was after walking up the hill from Coombe Martin then down the other side. Up was in sunshine, down was as above. After I took this photo I started to climb a short way up to be approach to Ilfracombe. There was soon a steep section up to Beacon Point at the top of Hillsborough, a nature reserve. Unfortunately all I could see is fog. Below is my decent into Ilfracombe Harbour.
